Synopsis

The play is a truly original portrait of the First World War which changed the world for ever. Oh What a Lovely War is a satirical musical which highlights the ironies and tragedies of the First World War in stories and songs. Twelve musicians, dancers, singers and clowns tell the entire story of the war and sing all the songs. The play includes a collection of irreverent and poignant songs such as‘Pack Up Your Troubles’, ‘Keep The Home Fires Burning’ and ‘It’s A Long Way To Tipperary’
