Synopsis

The hilarious and poignant true story of members of Rylstone Women's Institute in Yorkshire who hit on an eybrow-raising way to raise money for a chosen charity when the husband of one their members dies. The women decided that their annual calendar should feature themselves posing behind the traditional teacups, the fancy cakes, and the fruit and flower arrangements....totally in the nude. To say the effect on the W.I. and the rest of the world was explosive is an understatement as the calendar went on to raise millions of pounds for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research and bring celebrity status to the women who came up with the idea.
